A Bunch of New Wii U Games Were Announced

Lions and tigers and bears, Nintendo announced a lot of great new Wii U information today in their Direct video series. For those of you that don’t want to watch the more than 30-minute video (below) here are all the details.

Nintendo announced load-reducing firmware updates coming this spring and summer, Miiverse smart-phone apps, the launch of the Wii U Virtual Console, and a slew of new games (“Yoshi’s Epic Yarn”, “Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker Wii U”,”Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem”, and a new game from the creators of Xenoblade). It was also announced that new 3d Mario & Mario Kart games would be unveiled and playable at this year’s E3 and more information about Bayonetta 2 and Smash Bros Wii U would be coming soon.

It looks like Nintendo is very aware of the Wii U’s lack of AAA titles at the moment and seems to be in the process of remedying that problem.
