Sega is Teasing U.S. Hatsune Miku Fans

Hatsune Miku is a virtual idol, a computer generated character whose original purpose was to advertise voice synthesis software, and is now bigger than most flesh and blood pop singers in Japan. Numerous CDs, technologically impressive live shows, and even car commercials weren’t enough to contain her popularity, as she also has a slew of music/rhythm games spread across various systems. These games are quite popular here in Japan, but up until now have had almost no chance of coming States-side. Sega has apparently decided to (maybe) change this, as their Facebook is currently asking U.S. Miku fans to ‘like & share’ an image of the virtual idol to express their interest in Hatsune Miku Project Diva F for the PS3 possibly being localized. If you are a fan of fun music/rhythm games or CG generated pop idols, well, now’s your chance to do something about it.
